Using Sled Dog Sports as a Media Channel is an  Excellent Opportunity to Profile A Business

Sled dog racing is a nervewrecking and exciting sport that challenges both human athletes and their dogs. Sled dog racing is suitable for different kinds of dogs as well as for people who appreciate outdoor activities in close cooperation with animals. There are numerous opportunities to compete in several diciplines for those who wish to do so.

Sled dog racing creates an active and including fellowship. More than 50 local sled dog associations have joined the Norwegian Sled Dog Association and they run recruitment programs for both children, youth and adults. Whether one wishes to compete or prefers a non-competitive life style with outdoor activities, these associations will have something to offer.

This will culminate in 2011 with the World Championship in sled dog racing taking place in some of Norway's most famous and historic arenas in  Røros, Hamar and Holmenkollen. The WCh Committee works actively to profile this sport in the media, and potential sponsors will have their brand linked to a very including sport. In additional there will be a Trial WCh in 2011 in Røros and Hamar.

The WCh in Sled Dog Racing wishes to demonstrate the importance of good cooperation and sportmanship, in this case between dogs and people, in order to achieve outstanding results. At the same time we wish to foster good relations between sponsors and their chosen object, and to transfer positive association and an excellent reputation.

At the Holmenkollen/Oslo arena there will be arena competitions that are very accessible to the public and have several short rounds, allowing the audience to experience drama and tight duels with up to 100 dogs at the starting line.
