Selection of Participants

International entries are decided upon by each individual IFSS national member body (National Federation), based on its own selection criteria.

There is a quota of up to a maximum of 3 entries per class per country + Previous World Champions and World Cup Winners + 1 team in relay, Nordic and Sled Sprint (conditional) - one team per class per country.

For Provisional Members the minimum number guaranteed is 1 entry per class per country. See details in the IFSS Accreditation and World Championships Procedure, Chapter B.IX, available from the IFSS web site.

All countries may apply for an exstended national quota.  The organizer and IFSS will jointly decide if this is possible, based on the practical and technical limitations, timeschedule, size of stake out area etc

Selection of participants from each country is done exclusively by the national IFSS member bodies. No individual entries are accepted, but the IFSS reserves the right to make an exception and accept a few entries from non-member countries.

Persons wanting to participate in the World Championship competitions should contact their national IFSS federations for details.

For WCh Longdistanse there will be open quota in both classes for all countries.
